Jaguar Land Rover has appointed Thomas Muller as its new Executive Director of Product Engineering. He will handle the technical department of all new Jaguar and Land Rovers, including both hardware and software. Talking about Muller’s role in detail, he will be responsible for bringing to life the company’s Reimagine strategy - a sustainability-rich reimagination of modern luxury by design, unique customer experiences, and positive societal impact. This strategy is basically designed to help Jaguar Land Rover achieve net-zero carbon emissions across the supply chain, products, and operations by 2039.

Thomas Muller comes with more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. Furthermore, he has an extensive background in different roles in research and development, with a focus on chassis, ADAS, and autonomous driving. Earlier, Muller was in the Volkswagen Group, where he was handling the engineering leadership positions at Audi. Recently, Thomas was Executive Vice President for Research and Development ADAS and Autonomous Driving at Volkswagen Group’s automotive software subsidiary, CARIAD.
